Turner-Habitat for Humanity house build

Well known for spending large sums and involving many staff in activities in Africa, in 2007 Turner added smaller projects on its doorstep with The Big Issue and the Homeless World Cup. Airtime, staff skills and funds were used to help and promote both organisations.

Turner's investment:

£2282 cash, £3791 employee time, £300,000 in kind contributions

Project Achievements:

One group of staff advised The Big Issue on PR and Marketing. They continue to work with them, are creating a video and cycled to Paris to raise money. Another group fundraised and played at the Homeless World Cup with LeeSharp and BrianRobson and CNN gave airtime to promote it.

The session will include case-studies of the different approaches used by members to collect data as well as looking at how to tackle the issue of gathering output and impact data across the programme.
